Drive: 4WD.
- Rear Driveshaft at Rear Axle: 1 x Spicer 5-178X - Greaseable; with 3.625in Outside Snap Ring Dimension; 1 Piece Driveshaft; 1.188in Bearing Cap Diameter; with Cap to Cap Dimension 3.625in.
- Rear Driveshaft at Transmission: 1 x Spicer 5-178X - Greaseable; with 3.625in Outside Snap Ring Dimension; 1 Piece Driveshaft; 1.188in Bearing Cap Diameter; with Cap to Cap Dimension 3.625in.
Includes: 2 x Spicer 5-178X.
Measure before ordering:
5-178X: 1.188-inch (30.175 mm) bearing caps on both axes; 3.625-inch (92.1 mm) overall cap-to-cap width on both axes. Outside snap rings (OSR). Greaseable.
Use a caliper to measure every cap and BOTH joint axes. Compress the caps and measure the overall width across opposing cap end faces.
Only the listed parts are included. This is not a complete driveshaft or CV rebuild kit; unlisted centering parts, yokes and separate installation hardware are not included. Verify modified shafts individually.
